The Bones of Power

Where will we be finding said Bones? asked the Rebellion, its voice muffled by the wallet enclosure.

We shall allow the Thread to guide us, said Blue, But I have a feeling we are headed for a museum in which the bones of the international banking system are there disguised as the skeletal of a creature of another era. Or perhaps an archaeological dig, where young volunteers use fine brushes to remove the dust of millennia from the massive lumpy bones of the progenitors of the monetary system. Lying on their stomachs in inaccessible deserts, which used to be high streets or main street, depending on the direction of your Atlantic.

They arrived after time had passed, the seasons, in their inexorable chain, continued to mirror the timeline of entropic progress.

They arrived at a cliff face, following the Thread, as was their oath and duty, they came there in Quest.

In the Cliff face some mighty bones were seen to protrude from the reddened cliff and fall in heaps upon the foreshore.

The Thread, having indicated these bones, stood to one side and practiced its Cat’s Cradle technique. See blog 271.

These bones are all mixed, said the Spotlight, We should organise them into some kind of order, before I switch on my Xray effect and send it forth, there to interrogate the internal structure and building parts of these bones.

They took all the bones and, taking turns, lay them out upon the sand. At first, the appearance was of a fallen tree or spongiform creature. But soon a pattern of behaviour emerged, so they stood aside to witness.

Bones

This is a puzzler indeed, said the Blue Knight, who thought himself good at crosswords, as he wrangled another mighty bone into position. It looks as though the instigators and antecedents of the free market and consequently the system for power retention, may well have been related to the Tyrantic Rex. Not the biggest banker in the system, but certainly the ones with the smallest arms.

The skelletation lay upon the sand, clear and not in a swamp or hidden island.

I shall investigate this array with my Xray apparatus, said the Spot, and he turned on a strange invisible mechanism with a shiny black and white read out.

At first the bones remained opaque, protecting the internal structure of the international monetary system, shell companies and all, where funds can appear and disappear, for no known reason, at the end of the day. But then, slowly at first, the internal design and building gadgets were revealed in all their intricacy.

The interlocking spirals of the Genetic codes of Greed and Power. As individual specimens seeming innocuous and derisory, but then when rapt in their billions about the throat of human endeavour, created an almost impenetrable structure and fastness of bonding not seen before.

Surely these structures are unbreakable and beyond our remit, said the Blue Knight, I cannot approach an idea of breakdown. My trusty sword and morning star will not cut the mustard here. The bonds are primeval and turned to stone.

No, said the Spotlight, you have reason on your team. I believe that we shall require some kind of ascorbic and corrosive liquid to melt the bonds and lay this banking system inoperable. Something like the liquid that burns the hand of the poor souls on the back side of a tanker lorry would do the trick.

Careful

The faithful questers searched the roads until they found a mighty tanker of corrosive liquid with the correct signage. Paying the driver and custodian a heft fee, they drove it onto the beach, where the wheels became lodged in the sandy deposits.

No matter said the Blue Knight, The large ridged hose, which is always available, stored cleverly along one side of the vehicle, will be out saviour and method.

They attached all the attachments with spanners and clipping devices. Some hitting with a hammer was inevitable. And then set to spraying the bones of power with the corrosive liquid.

They wore hazmat suits and breathing apparatus except the Rebellion, as ideas do not need to breath and exist principally in the upper atmosphere.

The bones, extruding a vast cloud of unease, began to soften and writhe.

Let us collect some samples in these test tubes, that we may put them to the test under a suitable microscopic examination, then and only then might we see their true colours and discern the weak points.
