Sphinx In The East

Now and now, what a time it was, it was the time when all the knights of the world came together beneath the great banner of the Sphinx. To push and push away the ruination of that nation in peril. They pushed and stood as firm as can be, but many were lost, so that the sphinx cried out tears for her children.

Sometimes she came amongst the fighting of scattered armies and smote the darkness to shreds with her claws even though she still had some damage in one paw.

She became the centre, was at the centre, central. It was not enough, the darkness knew no edges.

Now must I search far in the way of discovery. Said the Sphinx, I shall, l then to the corners of the realms of the earth and its neighbours around, go now. First, I shall travel to the East, Eastwards, Easterly, wherein is the beginning of all things, bound as we are to the sun and its glories, in the east of rising up where the sun is reborn every and then anew fresh and rewarding. Rising, rising in the east where it is born, was born, will be born.

The Sphinx pays homage to the Rising Sun

To the East wherein the morning brings its new delivery of hope and a hope of things to come. Not the centre but to the east the Sphinx was went.

As the sun, it came up, up over, over the edge, brighter and more greater in size to rise up. The Sphinx took some sun in her paw to the burning and flung it to the dark ruination where it was darkest and there was a battle. Could be seen chariots with fire coming, making slashed tracks of hurt upon the ground, where some crops might lie down with the lamb. Then might see towers of dark, or dark buildings besieged with atrocity all and all and every words. But it could not stop, mighty as the sun may, it blew the darkness in pieces but the dark was again and so it raged and the sphinx threw more light into its belly but it wasn’t the end or even so the creeping ruin was halted to a halt but not done in of reduced enough.

The Sphinx drank from the sun and filled its pockets and closed its eyes and took the sun full on its eyes with no sunglasses on, to grow and grow as strong with the warmth and hope of the rising and rising each day without end to be strong and forthright and true.

Now the Sphinx was taken pleased by the power of the sun and knew to it could, with other strengths, halt and reverse the depression, the destruction, the ruination.

She would continue forwards.
