Now time had passed that the two knights were pure and worthy to undertake the Quest to rewrite the Book of Chivalry. They came together at the edge of the sea and made their pavilions there with ceremony and fasting.
After some days came to them a ship with no guide to it so that they were full amazed to go onto the ship. When onto the ship a voice told that only one may pass and so Vivainne went to the ship first and came after many days and nights of wind and storm through the mists and fog to the island there where she stayed.
Next came the Blue Knight after some days and when he alighted on the shore of the island Vivainne came down and told him she had waited One Hundred years for him but that in years she was some few years younger than when they had set out. This was not to be understood.

The hidden isle where they set foot was all in white mist and could not be found. They drew their sharp weapons and held up their great lances at these mists. Going forth into the place was found one stone building with many strong doors and rooms at their disposal. The guards who stood by to make brave challenge were all asleep with eyes fast shut and heads down. Vivainne and the Blue Knight entered at hearing some music which led them through the tall corridors. In a great hall, full beamed and with coloured hanging which did show scenes from the book, in it lay the Book with the Knights of Oblivion lay about with weapons drawn full in the light so had they lain this thousand year, waiting for a challenge or threat to their great book which did guide them.
Vivainne knew well that should they lay hands on the Book then the Knights would wake with wrath and fury to take revenge on their limbs to make them bloody and retire, so debated the good way to achieve the book and change its pages.

Vivainne took some vines and divers twines from there and plied them all the sleeping knights fast. The Blue Knight took a stone as the book was across and down till it came like the book itself then he took up the Book of Chivalry and put in its place the stone book.
The Knights came awake and found the bonds so tight and lay angry but Vivainne took the Book and laid it to a table with ink that they had there.
On every page they made new words. Saying here that women must also be equal to men in action and honour and next that women should become knights also and be honoured and seen and heard in full. The Blue Knight wrote the words of kindness and comfort and crossed the lines of danger with many lines. The Blue Knight wrote words concerning wisdom and renounced the ways of violence as folly and caprice.
As they finished all the pages anew, which had took many days the Knights of Oblivion came free of their bonds but the work was done so that it could not be undone. The Knights forced Vivainne and the Blue Knight to retreat back whence they had come, not knowing that the Book had been changed. All soon went once more to sleep in guard of the New Book of Chivalry which they knew not.
