This is a page taken from the book of the Guardians of the Cave, it depicts a scene from the dream of Vivainne the Knight Exemplar as she slept by a well, deep in the forest. In this particular story she has two dreams, both are interpreted by a recluse that Vivainne meets in the forest and who shows her good hospitality. This type of dream story is often used to guide the knight and the reader in the morality and values that are seen as paramount to and honourable knight’s progress.
