This page is taken from The Great Book of Guardians of the Cave, depicting an episode from the Tale of Berta and the Scones. There is little doubt, amongst academics that this story is based on true events in which the Guardians played some part, hence the inclusion in this august tome. It is, however, probable that the actors and events in this Tale have been exaggerated and embellished through multiple retellings.
